Control accessibility options with your keyboard and Siri

Apple OS X Accessibility Options for People Who Are Blind or Have Low Vision Low Vision Computer Screen Access Using the Zoom Screen Magnifier Low Vision and Blind Computer Screen Access Using the VoiceOver Screen Reader Getting Help with OS X Accessibility for Users with Visual Impairments. In iOS 10, Apple will let users filter their entire display, whether that's applying grayscale, red/green filters for both protanopia and deuteranopia color blindness, and a blue/yellow filter for a very different form of color blindness called tritanopia. There's also an option to just overlay a color tint of any hue or intensity.

You can use these keyboard shortcuts to control accessibility options, or ask Siri to perform these functions. For example, ask Siri to 'Turn VoiceOver On.'

2. To use VoiceOver and VoiceOver Utility, you might need to turn on 'Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys' in Keyboard preferences. You might also need to make VoiceOver ignore the next key press before you can use some of the other Mac keyboard shortcuts.

3. To use the zoom shortcuts, you might need to turn on 'Use keyboard shortcuts to zoom' in Accessibility preferences.
